Granada Albayzin Self-Catering ApartmentsEl numero 8 is not a typical hotel. It is a traditional casa de vecinos "neighbour's house" that was very typical to the Albayzin, the oldest neighbourhood in Granada. The original structure of the house has been maintained but the spaces have been converted into several distinct and separate self-catered apartments. Each of the apartments is unique in its layout and capacity which ranges from 2 to 4 people maximum. Each apartment with its independent living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom should offer all you will need as a place to rest after exploring all of the endless ways of Granada and the surrounding areas. There is also a radio/cassette/cd-player in each apartment for you to fill the air with the music of your choice. When you have had enough of hanging on your own you can come upstairs to the rooftop terrace. This is the most popular and spacious apartment of the house. It is upstairs and just below the shared rooftop terrace where you can go to get views of the Alhambra. Along with the dining area that is connected to the kitchen, there are two rooms that include a large bedroom with a king size bed and a living room. The living room has a sofa that converts into a king size bed turning this into another bedroom. Much of the enchantment of this apartment lies in the traditional woodbeam roof , old brick pillars and the skylight window located in the master bedroom. |

The bedroom has two single beds along with the living room that has a very comfortable futon that can fit 2 more making it possible to fit a total of 4 people. This apartment is located downstairs and adjacent to the interior patio which is a great place to hang out during those hot summer hours amongst the plants and the patio art. |

Here we have a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room that makes a total capacity of 4 people. This is a very comfortable apartment for couples and single travellers. |

This apartment is the space with the most unique and relaxing feel and also happens to be the most affordable apartment in the Albayzin. It is a studio type apartment with the kitchen and living room in the same space. It has a large window that looks out onto a plazita next to the house. The bedroom is a separate room with a double bed and it resembles a cave in that it has no windows, hence it is a great room for deep sleep. The private bathroom is right outside of the apartment and it is because of this slight inconvenience that the price is so reasonable for this apartment. |
